Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients
  Unbaked pie shell 1 (Deep)
  Lean bacon slice 8 , cut into half
  Gruyere cheese 1⁄4 Pound, thinly sliced (125 Gram)
  Eggs 3 Large
  Light cream 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (375 Milliliter)
  Nutmeg 1 Dash
  Salt 1 Dash
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Butter 30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)
Directions

Partially cook bacon and drain.
Alternate bacon and cheese in the pie shell.
Beat eggs, cream, nutmeg, salt and pepper together.
Pour over bacon and cheese.
Brown the butter and drizzle over the top.
Bake at 400F (200C) for 20 minutes, then bake at 350F (180C) until set, about 15 minutes.
Keep warm until served.
