Fillet Of Sole Au Gratin
|Sole fillet||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Chopped onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped celery||2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated american cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Place fillets in shallow baking pan; sprinkle with onion, celery, salt, and pepper.
Add 2 tablespoons water and lemon juice.
Bake in 450Â°F oven 10 minutes.
Melt butter; stir in flour.
Add milk gradually; cook, stirring, until thickened.
Add salt, pepper, and cheese; reserve about 2 tablespoons for top.
Heat until cheese is melted; pour over fish.
Sprinkle remaining cheese over top; bake 10 to 15 minutes
