French Apple Pie

Ingredients
  Tart apples 6 Medium, cored, quartered
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Pastry 1
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (0.5 Stick)
  Flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Combine the apples and 1 cup water in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
Cook for 10 minutes or until tender-crisp; drain.
Stir in the 1/2 cup sugar, the 1 tablespoon flour and cinnamon.
Spoon into a pastry-lined pie plate.
Sprinkle with a mixture of the 1/3 cup sugar, margarine and the 1/2 cup flour.
Bake at 425 degrees for 1 hour.
