French Fried Onions
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Shortening||1 Tablespoon, melted|
Heat deep fat to 380Â°.
Slice onions and separate into rings.
Put remaining ingredients into Osterizer container, cover and process at WHIP until smooth.
Dip onion rings into batter, drip excess from rings, and then drop into hot fat.
Fry until golden brown.
