French Fried Shrimp
|Uncooked shrimp in shells||3⁄4 Pound (Large Size)|
|Sifted all purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Curry powder||1 Dash|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Salad oil||1 Tablespoon|
Peel shells from shrims serving tails.
Slit along back; remove veins, flatten shimp.pat dry.
Combine dry ingredients; add egg white, water, and salad oil; beat well.
Dip shrimp in batter; fry in deep hot fat (375Â°) till golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve immediately with cocktail or tartar sauce.
