French Onion Soup With Parmesan Cheese

This French Onion Soup is simply irresistible and mouth-watering recipe. Try this easy to prepare soup; I am sure you will love to share it with your loved ones.
Ingredients
  Onions 5 Small, thinly sliced crosswise
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Canned beef consomme 31 1⁄2 Ounce (3 Cans Of 10.5 Ounce Each)
  Water 21 Ounce (2 Cans Of 10.5 Ounce Each)
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  French bread slices 8 , cut 0.25 inch thick
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  Grated parmesan cheese 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Directions

Separate onions into rings and cook in melted butter or margarine until glossy.
Add consomme, water, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Cover tightly and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
Spread butter or margarine on one side of each slice of bread.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Place slices under broiler until slightly browned.
Serve a bread slice atop each serving of onion soup.
