French Pear Pudding
|Dairy sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Pears||1 Pound, drained|
|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), firmly packed|
|Flour||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Nutmeg||3 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat eggs slightly in small bowl; stir in sour cream and vanilla.
Mix sugar and 1 tbs.flour; add these ingredients to sour cream mixture; mix well.
Quarter pears; arrange in a shallow baking dish.
Top with sour cream mixture.
Bake 15 minutes.
While pudding bakes, combine brown sugar, 1/3 cup flour and nutmeg in a second small bowl.
Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles corn meal.
Sprinkle over pudding and bake 15 minutes more.
