|Milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), melted (or margarine)|
|Vegetable cooking spray||1|
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl.
Combine egg yolks, milk, and melted butter; add to dry ingredients, stirring until mixture is smooth.
Beat egg whites (at room temperature) with sugar until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold into flour mixture.
Coat an square waffle iron with vegetable cooking spray, allow to preheat.
Pour about 1 cup batter onto hot waffle iron.
Bake 5 minutes or until steaming stops.
Repeat procedure until all batter is used.
