French Chocolate With Light Corn Soup
|Semisweet chocolate pieces||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Light corn syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (plus 2 tablespoons)|
|Whipping cream||2 Cup (32 tbs), chilled|
|Milk||8 Cup (128 tbs)|
Heat chocolate pieces, corn syrup and water over low heat, stirring until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
Stir in vanilla.
In chilled bowl, beat cream until stiff, adding chilled chocolate gradually.
Continue beating until mixture mounds when dropped from a spoon.
Just before serving, heat milk through but do not boil.
Fill cups 1/2 full with whipped cream mixture.
Fill cups with milk; blend.
