Ingredients
  Raisin bran/Post 40% bran flakes 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Preferably Post)
  Blanched almonds 2 Cup (32 tbs), ground (Around 0.5 Pound)
  Confectioner's sugar 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Chopped citron 1 Tablespoon
  Chopped candied orange peel 1 Tablespoon
  Grated lemon rind 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Egg whites 6
Directions

In a large bowl mix cereal, ground almonds, confectioners' sugar, citron, orange peel, lemon rind, salt, vanilla, and lemon juice, blending thoroughly.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks will form.
Fold in cereal-fruit mixture.
Shape into mounds with a tablespoon and place on heavy paper on baking sheet.
Bake in moderate oven (375°F.) 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from paper at once.
