|All purpose flour||1 Teaspoon|
|Pepper white||1 Dash|
|Chicken broth||1 Cup (16 tbs), canned|
In small saucepan heat margarine until bubbly and hot; add flour and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes.
In another saucepan bring broth to a boil; remove from heat.
Add margarine mixture, a little at a time, beating well with wire whisk after each addition.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened; season with salt and pepper.
Reduce heat as low as possible and continue cooking for 15 minutes longer, stirring occasionally.
