Shrimp And Crab Au Gratin
|All purpose flour||3 Tablespoon|
|Gravy base||1 Tablespoon|
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Processed american cheese||5 Ounce|
|Cooked lump crab meat/7 1/2-ounce canned crab meat, drained and cartilage removed||8 Ounce|
|Shelled shrimp||8 Ounce|
|Toast points||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In saucepan melt butter; blend in flour and chicken base.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Add 7 cup of the cheese; stir to melt.
Tint with a few drops of yellow food coloring.
Cut crab meat into pieces; add crab and shrimp to creamed mixture.
Pour into four 8-ounce casserole dishes, top with remaining cheese, and sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at 350Â° till hot, 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve with toast points.
