Microwaved Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients
  Lard pie crust 1
  Bacon slices/Salt pork 6
  Eggs 3
  Heavy cream 250 Milliliter
  Salt 2 Milliliter
  Pepper 1 Milliliter
  Nutmeg 1 Milliliter
  Cheddar cheese 250 Milliliter
Directions

Cut the bacon or salt pork into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pieces.
Place a sheet of paper towelling on a plate and place the diced bacon or salt pork on it.
Microwave 2 or 3 minutes at HIGH.
Beat together in a bowl the eggs, cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Add the grated cheese.
Mix together.
Line a pie plate with the rolled dough*.
Spread the diced bacon or salt pork over the crust and pour the cheese mixture over all.
Sprinkle with a little grated cheese, if desired.
Microwave 8 to 9 minutes at MEDIUM.
Or preheat the convection part of your microwave oven at 400°F (200°C).
Place the prepared quiche on the oven rack and bake 30 minutes.
Check for doneness with the point of a knife.
If not cooked, bake a few minutes more or until done.
Serve hot or tepid.
