French Steak And Onions
|Sirloin steak/Rump steak/porterhouse steak||1|
|Olive oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|French mustard||1 Tablespoon|
|Wine vinegar||2 Tablespoon|
Heat the olive oil in a pan, put the meat in it and season with salt and pepper.
Fry for 8 to 10 minutes, turning only once.
Fry the sliced onions in oil in a pan, till lightly browned.
Add the mild or wine vinegar, crushed garlic, a little stock, and some pepper, and cook for 10 minutes, until well blended.
When about to serve, mix the continental mustard in the sauce and pour it over the steak on a hot dish.
