Top-of-the-stove Potatoes an. Gratin
|Boiling water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Diced potatoes||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Chopped onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grated cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
To boiling water and salt in saucepan add potatoes and onion; cover, and boil 10 minutes.
Remove lid, and, stirring several times, let mixture simmer until water is almost evaporated.
Add milk, cheese, pepper and extra salt, if needed.
Turn into warm dish, and garnish with parsley.
