French Toast Ham Sandwich with Rarebit Sauce
|Chopped canned ham||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Mayonnaise/Salad dressing||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Pickle relish||1 Teaspoon|
|French bread slice||4|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Barbecue sauce||1 Dash|
Mix meat with enough mayonnaise to moisten, and add relish.
Makes 2 generously filled sandwiches of bread and meat mixture.
Mix egg, milk and barbecue sauce.
Dip sandwich quickly in mixture.
Fry in melted butter on both sides until golden.
Cut diagonally, and serve covered with Rarebit Sauce.
