Chicken Liver Pate

Ingredients
  Onion 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), finely chopped
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Chicken livers 1⁄2 Pound
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dry sherry 2 Tablespoon
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
Directions

MAKING
1) In a saucepan, add butter and heat.
2) Add onion and saute till tender.
3) Add in the chicken livers and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
4) Transfer the livers into an electric blender.
5) Add in salt and sherry.
6) Blend till smooth. Cool.
7) Combine liver mixture and softened butter and place in a small bowl or crock, and serve with crackers.

SERVING
8) Serve with toasted bread.
