Fish Soup Normandy

Ingredients
For fish stock
  Fish 1⁄2 Pound (heads, bones or trimmings)
  Hot beef bouillon 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1⁄2
  Onion 1 Small, sliced
  Celery 1 , sliced
  Carrot 1 , sliced
Fish dumplings:
  Cooked white fish 3⁄4 Pound (cod, haddock, etc.)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  White pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Egg 1
  Parsley sprigs 3 , finely chopped
  Lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
  Dry bread crumbs 3 Tablespoon (Packaged)
For soup ingredients
  Vegetable oil 3 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Medium, sliced
  Carrots 5 , sliced into 1/2 inch lengths
  Celery stalk 1 , sliced into 1/2 inch lengths
  Parsley sprigs 2
  Hot beef broth 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Tomato paste 2 Tablespoon
  Canned sliced mushrooms 4 Ounce, drained
  Tomatoes 3 Small, peeled and quartered
  Green pepper 1 , sliced
  Curry powder 1 Teaspoon
  Canned shrimp 4 1⁄2 Ounce, deveined and drained (1 can)
  White wine 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Cayenne pepper 1 Dash
  Garlic powder 1 Dash
  Parsley sprigs 1 , chopped
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Clean the fish. Trim and cut.

MAKING
2. In a large saucepan put fish. Add bouillon, lemon juice, onion, celery, and carrot.
3. Cook and simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
4. Strain and keep aside.
5. To prepare Fish Dumplings, grinder fish through meat grinder (fine blade).
6. Sprinkle salt and pepper over it.
7. Add butter and egg. Blend well.
8. Stir in parsley, lemon juice, and bread crumbs. Mix thoroughly and keep aside.
9. In a large Dutch oven or saucepan heat oil. Add onion, carrots, celery, and parsley.
10. Cook and stir constantly until light brown.
11. Stir in beef broth gently.
12. Cover and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
13. Blend in Fish Stock, tomato paste, mushrooms, tomatoes, curry powder, and green pepper.
14. Cook and simmer for 10 minutes.
15. Damp hands lightly and shape Fish Dumplings.
16. Gently drop them into soup.
17. Stir in shrimp and simmer for 15 minutes.
18. Pour wine and mix.
19. Season with salt, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder.

SERVING
20. Add chopped parsley.
21. Serve.
