French Baguette with Butter and Prosciutto
|French baguette||4 , cut into 8 pieces (roughly 7 inch pieces) and sliced horizontally|
|Green scallions||12 , finely chopped|
|Italian parsley||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped|
|Extra virgin olive oil||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Kosher salt||1 Teaspoon|
|Unsalted butter||12 Ounce, softened (3 sticks)|
|Prosciutto||12 Ounce, thinly sliced into 48 pieces|
1. In a medium sized bowl, combine olive oil, salt, scallions and parsley. Mix well and keep aside.
2. On a baguette piece, apply 1 tablespoon prepared oil and 3 tablespoons butter.
3. Top with 6 slices of prosciutto and cover with remaining halved baguette.
4. Follow same procedure for remaining mixture.
5. Serve immediately.
