  Butter 1 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1 In a pan, add the butter.
2 Add in the flour, stirring constantly until well blended.

SERVING
3 Use the roux as a thickening agent.

TIPS
Pour in half and half to prepare the classic bechamel sauce.
You can also use chicken drippings for added flavor.
