Classic French Onion And Cheese Soup
|Onions||4 Large, thinly sliced|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Condensed beef broth||31 1⁄2 Ounce (3 Cans, 10 1/2 Ounce Each)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|French rolls/Hard rolls||2 , sliced and toasted|
|Grated parmesan cheese/Shredded sharp natural cheddar cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1.Take a large saucepan and heat butter in it.
2.Saute onions for 20 minutes in it until light brown.
3.Stir in the broth and Worcestershire sauce.
4.Let the mixture boil.
5.Add a sprinkling of salt and pepper to it.
6.Place the mixture until a broiler so that the cheese turns light brown in color.
7.Serve warm in bowls garnished with cheese toast.
