French Onion Soup
|Instant chopped onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Hot water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Beef base||2 Tablespoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Ground marjoram||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Herb croutons||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), grated|
1) In melted butter, brown the onions over low heat. Ensure that the onions do not burn.
2) Add hot water, bay leaf, beef flavor base, pepper and marjoram.
3) Simmer the contents for about 20 minutes.
4) Serve the French Onion Soup piping hot. Top individual servings with grated Parmesan cheese and Herb Croutons
