Best French Dressing
|Olive oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dry white wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Red wine vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried basil leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Parsley||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), finely chopped|
|Salad oil||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. In a medium sized bowl, combine all the ingredients. Blend well using a rotary beater.
2. In a jar with tight-fitting lid, pour the prepared dressing and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
3.Just before serving, shake well and drizzle on garden fresh greens or serve with a salad of your choice.
Always shake the prepared dressing just before use, reason being that all the heavy ingredients tend to settle to the bottom of the jar.
