Classic Bacon Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients
  Piecrust mix 5 1⁄2 Ounce (1/2 Package)
  Bacon slices 12 , fried and crumbled
  Swiss cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated
  Soft butter 1 Tablespoon
  Eggs 4
  Cream 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1 Pinch
  Cayenne 1 Pinch
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 425° F.

MAKING
2) Prepare the pie dough with piecrust mix as per package directions.
3) In a 10-inch glass pie plate, roll out and fit the pastry; refrigerate until needed.
4) Spread the piecrust with soft butter, then sprinkle with the crumbled bacon and grated cheese.
5) In a bowl, beat the eggs lightly, mix in the cream and seasonings.
6) Pour over the cheese and bacon in the pie plate.
7) Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then lower the oven temperature to 300° F and bake for another 15 minutes.

SERVING
8) Slice into thin wedges serve the Quiche Lorraine, immediately on a serving platter.
