Traditional French Dressing
|Olive oil/Salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Vinegar/Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1 Pinch (If Desired)|
|Caster sugar||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1. In a small basin, add seasoning; pour in vinegar or lemon juice and blend.
2. Put in olive oil.
3. Whisk well with a fork until an emulsion is formed and the dressing appears cloudy.
4. The dressing has to be used immediately, as the oil and vinegar wills separate again if allowed to stand.
5. Serve the French dressing separately with salad; use it for preparing the Green Salad.
