Easy Chicken Marengo
|Frying chicken||3 Pound, cut up|
|Spaghetti sauce mix||1 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Dry white wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Fresh tomatoes||2 , quartered|
|Fresh mushrooms||1⁄4 Pound|
Place chicken parts in bottom of slow-cooking pot.
Combine dry spaghetti sauce mix with wine; pour over chicken.
Cover and cook on low 6 to 7 hours.
Turn control to high.
Add tomatoes and mushrooms.
Cover and cook on high for 30 to 40 minutes or until tomatoes are done.
Makes 4 to 5 servings.
