French Snow Peas with Ham
|Snow peas||1 1⁄2 Pound (Ready For Cooking)|
|Boiling salted water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Minced smoked ham/Canadian bacon||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste|
|Minced parsley||2 Tablespoon|
Cook the snow peas in boiling salted water to cover for 2 minutes.
Drain and rinse quickly under running cold water.
Heat the butter in a frying pan and add the ham.
Cook, stirring constantly, for about 3 minutes.
Add the snow peas and salt and pepper.
Over high heat, and stirring constantly, cook for 2 more minutes.
Sprinkle with the parsley and serve immediately.
