Dessert French Toast

Ingredients
  Eggs 3
  Milk 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 5 Tablespoon (For Cooking)
  Pound cake slice 6 (1/2 Inch Thick Icing Sugar)
  Grated lemon rind 1 Teaspoon
Directions

In mixing bowl, beat eggs, milk and vanilla until frothy.
In skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter.
Dip cake slices into egg mixture, then quickly fry in melted butter, turning slices as they brown.
Remove from skillet and dust lightly with icing sugar.
Sprinkle with lemon rind and serve immediately, passing maple syrup to pour over, if desired.
