Microwave French Onion Soup
|Sliced onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Reduced calorie margarine||2 Teaspoon (From The Tub)|
|Reduced calorie tub margarine||2 Teaspoon|
|Instant beef broth and seasoning mix||1 1⁄4 Ounce, dissolved in 1 cup boiling water (1 Packet)|
|White pepper||1 Dash|
|French bread slices||1 Ounce (2 Slices, 1/2 Ounce Each)|
|French bread slices||2 , toasted (About 1/2 Ounce Each)|
|Shredded mozzarella cheese||2 Ounce|
1) In a 12-ounce microwave-safe soup bowl, add the onion and margarine, cover with a plastic wrap and microwave on High for about 5 minutes, until the onion is golden.
2) Remove the plastic wrap, then stir in the dissolved broth mix and pepper.
3) Place the toast slices on the soup, cover with the cheese and microwave uncovered on High for another 1 to 2 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
4) Serve immediately.
