French Onion Soup

Ingredients
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Onions 6 , thinly sliced
  Beef stock/Four 10-ounce cans consomme 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Burgundy 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Grated parmesan cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Toasted croutons 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Optional)
Directions

In a stockpot, melt butter; saute onion until golden.
Add broth and wine and simmer for 1 5 minutes.
Serve sprinkled with cheese, green onino and croutons.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
