Delicious French Onion Soup
|Onions||3 , thinly sliced|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Beef broth||4 Cup (64 tbs) (Bouillon)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|French bread slices||6 , toasted|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1 Tablespoon|
1) In a covered 2-1/2-quart casserole, heat butter or margarine and cook onions in it for 10 minutes on High.
2) Mix in broth, Worcestershire sauce and salt and cook the mixture, covered for another 5 minutes on High.
3) Apply cheese on toast.
4) Pour soup into oven proof soup bowls and float with cheesed toast on top.
5) Again heat the soup for 30 seconds on High.
6) Serve hot immediately.
