Basic Hollandaise Sauce
|Lemon juice||50 Milliliter|
1. In a medium bowl, place the butter.
2. Place the bowl in the microwave and run it for 50-60 seconds at High to melt.
3. In another bowl, mix the lemon juice with egg yolks.
4. With a fork or whisk, vigorously stir the mixture into the melted butter.
5. Place the bowl back in the microwave and cook for 50-60 seconds at Medium-Low, stirring often.
6. Add salt and pepper.
7. Serve as a topping for a main dish.
