Easy Classic French Onion Soup
|Onions||10 Large, sliced|
|Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Condensed beef broth||63 Ounce (6 Cans Of 10 1/2 Ounces Each)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|French bread slice||10 , toasted|
|French bread slices||10 , toasted|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
1) In butter, saute the onions till they are tender-crisp. Put them in a slow cooker.
2) Add the broth, bay leaes and Worcestershire sauce.
3) Cover the cooker and cook over low heat for about 5 to 7 hours, till the onions are tender. Remove the bay leaves.
4) Put the soup into individual bowls and top each serving with some cheese and a slice of bread
5) Serve hot.
