Jellied Tomato Juice Consomme
|Tomato juice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Celery||2 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Onion||2 (Thin Slices)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon gelatin||1 Tablespoon|
1. In a large bowl, combine the tomato juice, consommé, celery, bay leaf, onion and cloves and simmer for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
2. When the mixture has cooled, measure 8 cups, adding boiling water if necessary to make the necessary amount.
3. Pour the hot liquid, lemon juice and Worcestershire into the gelatin and stir until dissolved. Set aside to chill until firm while beating lightly with a fork
4. Serve in chilled cups, garnished with lemon slices and chilled whipped salted cream.
