Basic Crepe Batter
|All purpose flour||7⁄8 Cup (14 tbs)|
|Melted butter||2 Tablespoon|
|Milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
1 In a large bowl sift flour and salt together and keep aside.
2 With the help of a wooden spoon make a hollow in the cente of the sifted flour and pour in lightly beaten eggs in to it.
3 Pour half the milk in to the flour slowly mixing the batter with a wooden spoon until the flour is dissolved.
4 Beat the mixture vigorously with a whisk,wooden spoon or an electric or hand blender until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
5 Keep the batter aside and allow to stand for a few minutes.
6 Add the remaining milk beating continuously just enough to get the light cream like consistancy.
7 Use as desired to make sweet or savoury crepes.
