French Apple Fritters
|Egg||1 , separated|
|All purpose flour||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs), sifted|
|Confectioner' s sugar||To Taste|
|Fat||2 Tablespoon (For Frying)|
1)Peel and core apples.
2)Cut into 1/4-inch wedges.
3)In a bowl, beat egg yolk well with water, oil and salt.
4)Add flour and beat well until smooth. Leave it at room temperature for about 2 hours.
5)Just before frying, beat egg white until stiff and add to the batter mixture.
6)Dip apple slices into batter.
7)In a pan, heat fat and fry apples until golden brown. Drain.
8)Sprinkle sugar before serving.
9)Serve the French apple fritters hot with sauce.
