French Beef Bake
|Cubed roast beef||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Thyme leaf||1⁄2 Teaspoon, crumbled|
|Apple cider||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned white kidney beans||2 Pound, drained (2 Cans, 1 Pound Each)|
|Canned boiled onion||1 Pound, drained (1 Can, Small Onion)|
|Chopped parsley||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1. In a medium-size frying pan brown beef in butter or margarine, stir in salt, thyme, pepper and cider and heat to boil.
2. Into a 6-cup baking dish spoon the beef, stir in beans and onions and cover.
3. In moderate oven bake at 375° for 30 minutes such that bubbly-hot.
4. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with French bread, if desired.
