Easy French Onion Soup

Ingredients
  Onions 1 1⁄2 Pound, sliced to make 5 cups
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Beef bouillon 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Toasted french bread slices 8
  Grated parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Peel onions and slice thin.
Brown lightly in butter.
Add to bouillon and simmer, covered, for about 30 minutes.
Season to taste.
Put into large casserole or individual casseroles.
Top with toast and sprinkle with cheese.
