Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Corn syrup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Red food color 3 Drop (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
Directions

1. Combine sugar, corn syrup and 1/4 cup water in small saucepan. Cook, without stirring, until mixture reaches 300°F. on candy thermometer. Stir in several drops food color, and pour carefully into window holes, filling slightly less than to top of gingerbread. Cool completely before moving; then peel off foil and use as directed. (Any excess syrup may be dropped in dots on extra foil to be used as hard candy.)
