Sausage Leek and Potato Gratin
|Onion||1 Small, peeled and chopped|
|Dried mixed herbs||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1|
|Sausage meat||4 Ounce (100 Gram)|
|Butter||1 Ounce (25 Gram)|
|Leeks||4 Ounce, washed and thinly sliced (100 Gram)|
|Potato||1 Medium, peeled|
|Bay leaves||2 (To Garnish:)|
|Rosemary sprigs||4 (To Garnish:)|
1) In a bowl, add chopped onion, mixed herbs, salt, pepper and the sausage meat, blend well and place at the bottom of an ovenproof gratin dish.
2) In a pan, saute the leeks in the butter for 3 min, season with salt and pepper ; grate the potato into the pan over the leeks and cook further for 2min, blend well and place over the sausage mixture.
3) Bake in a preheated oven for about 25 min.
4) Garnish with bay leaves, spring of rosemary and serve immediately.
