French Fried Shrimp

Ingredients
  Enriched flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Fat 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ice water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Salad oil 2 Tablespoon
  Cleaned shrimp 1 Pound (Raw, 2 Pounds In Shell)
Directions

Combine ingredients, except shrimp; beat well.
Dry shrimp thoroughly and remove black vein.
Dip in batter; fry in deep, hot fat (375°) till golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve immediately with Tartare Sauce or Sea-food Cocktail Sauce.
