Smoked Mackerel Pate
|Smoked mackerel||1 Pound, skinned and boned (Approximately 450 Gram)|
|Sweet butter||50 Gram, melted (1/4 Cup)|
|Lemon||1 , rind grated and juice extracted|
|Black pepper||To Taste|
|Sliced cucumber||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Break up the mackerel fillets and put them in a blender with all the other ingredients except the cucumber.
Blend until smooth.
Taste and add more salt, pepper or lemon juice if necessary.
Chill the pate.
Arrange the cucumber slices overlapping in a circle on a dish.
Spoon the pate into the middle and serve.
