French Onion Soup With Mozzarella Cheese
|Thinly sliced onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Margarine/Butter||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Hot water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Instant beef bouillon||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground pepper||To Taste|
|French bread slice||1 , toasted (1 Inch Piece)|
|Shredded mozzarella cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1 Teaspoon|
Separate onions into rings.
Place onions and margarine in 12-oz bowl [two 12-oz bowls].
Cover tightly and microwave on high (550 watts) until tender, 2 to 3 min [4 to 5 min].
Stir in water, bouillon and pepper.
Cover tightly and microwave until boiling, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 min [4 to 5 min].
Place toast on top[s].
Mix cheeses; sprinkle over toast.
Microwave uncovered on medium-high (385 watts) until cheese is melted, 1 to 2 min [2 1/2 to 3 min].
