French Potatoes

Ingredients
  Potatoes 1 1⁄2 Pound, peeled and thinly sliced
  Onion 1 Medium, sliced into rings
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Milk 6 Tablespoon
  Paprika To Taste
Directions

Put potato slices to soak in cold water.
Put the onion rings in a bowl.
Cover with plastic wrap and pierce.
Microwave on full power or HIGH for 1 minute.
Grease a 5-cup microwave dish with a little of the butter.
Layer drained potatoes and onions in dish, starting and finishing with potatoes.
Season each layer well with salt and pepper.
Pour milk over potatoes and dot with the rest of the butter.
Sprinkle the top with paprika.
Cover with plastic wrap and pierce.
Microwave on full power or HIGH for 13 minutes, giving the dish 1/2 turn twice during cooking.
Allow to stand, covered, for 5 minutes before serving.
