Classic French Dressing
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm)|
|Tabasco/Dash of cayenne||2 Drop|
|Salad oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon, freshly ground|
Combine all ingredients.
Must be made at least 24 hours ahead of serving time and refrigerated.
Lemon juice may be substituted for vinegar.
Use 1 tablespoon vinegar and 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
This recipe requires that additional salt be added to greens at the time dressing is added.
Makes 3/4 cup.
