Skillet Style French Fries

Ingredients
  Baking potatoes 1 1⁄2 Pound (3 Medium)
  Cooking oil 200 Milliliter
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Peel potatoes and cut lengthwise in 3/8- or 16-inch-wide strips.
In skillet that is at least 3 inches deep, heat 1 inch of oil to 360°.
Fry a few potatoes at a time till crisp and golden, 6 or 7 minutes.
Drain on paper toweling.
Sprinkle with salt.
Serve at once.
