Lamb Chops A La Grecque

Ingredients
  Olive oil 3 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dried oregano leaves 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed
  Freshly ground pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Lamb shoulder chops 1 Pound, cut 1 inch thick
Directions

Combine oil, lemon juice, salt, oregano, and pepper in plastic bag.
Add lamb chops; marinate 2 to 4 hours in refrigerator.
Drain, reserving marinade.
Using marinade, brown the meat on both sides in heavy 10-inch skillet over medium-low heat till done 10 minutes for medium-rare; 15 minutes for well-done. (Electric skillet 275°.)
