French Onion Soup
|Thinly sliced onions||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||2 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Condensed beef broth||3 Can (30 oz)|
|French rolls/Hard rolls||2 , sliced, toasted|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1 Tablespoon|
Cook onions in butter till lightly browned.
Add broth and Worcestershire.
Bring to boil; season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle toast with Parmesan cheese.
Pour soup into bowls; float toast.
For a gourmet touch, place in preheated broiler a few seconds till cheese is lightly browned.
