Ideal French Onion Soup

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Onions 3 Medium, thinly sliced
  Condensed beef broth/2 tablespoons instant beef bouillon dissolved in 6 cups water 31 1⁄2 Ounce, diluted with 2 1/3 cups water
  Salt To Taste
  French bread slices 2 , toasted
  Grated parmesan cheese 2 Ounce
Directions

Combine butter and onions in 3-quart bowl or casserole.
Cover.
MICROWAVE 8 MINUTES on HIGH, or until onions are transparent, stirring once.
Stir in broth.
Cover.
MICROWAVE 8 to 10 MINUTES on HIGH, or until onions are tender and soup is hot.
Salt to taste.
Top each serving with slice of toasted French bread.
Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese.
