Ideal French Onion Soup
|Onions||3 Medium, thinly sliced|
|Condensed beef broth/2 tablespoons instant beef bouillon dissolved in 6 cups water||31 1⁄2 Ounce, diluted with 2 1/3 cups water|
|French bread slices||2 , toasted|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Ounce|
Combine butter and onions in 3-quart bowl or casserole.
MICROWAVE 8 MINUTES on HIGH, or until onions are transparent, stirring once.
Stir in broth.
MICROWAVE 8 to 10 MINUTES on HIGH, or until onions are tender and soup is hot.
Salt to taste.
Top each serving with slice of toasted French bread.
Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese.
