Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Boiling water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Carrots 5 Cup (80 tbs), cut diagonally, 1/4 inch thick
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Parsley 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped
Directions

About 20 minutes before serving: In saucepan, add butter to boiling water.
Add salt, nutmeg, pepper, sugar and carrots.
Simmer, covered, 8 to 10 minutes or until tender-crisp.
Stir in lemon juice, monosodium glutamate and parsley.
